It doesn't look as though I've been added to the Partek group yet. I'd
like to try it out and maybe show it to some of the statisticians.
Also, the Partek directory itself has permission only for the partek group,
so the error message generated by non-group users executing 'partek' is
>-bash: partek: command not found
rather than a "permission denied" error. Would it be possible for 'module
load partek' to check if the user is already in the group and then return
some sort of informative error message like:
"Partek usage requires special permission - please email
<[log in to unmask]> for assistance" ?
Or instead of the rescomp email address, it could cite the URL
<http://www.units.muohio.edu/mcs/academictechnology/research_computing/partekds.shtml>.
