Stopped by hoover at about 4 pm on the way home today. I just hit
the boardwalk pretty much. Spent an hour lost in bird-land. Here's the
list of estimates and counts;

Pectoral Sandpiper - 10
Greater Yellowlegs - 2
Lesser Yellowlegs - 10
Dunlin - 10
Stilt sandpiper - 5
LB Dowitcher - 4
Semipalm. Sandpiper - 4
Least Sandpiper - 3
Semipalm Plover - 3
Killdeer - 8
GBH
Mallards
G.W. Teal - 2
Ruddy Duck - 15 a new sight for me this fall at hoover.
Ringbilled Gulls
Bonaparte's Gull - 2
D.c. Cormorants - 20

Saw some of the usual birds in the parkinglot and elsewheres. Downy
Woodpeckers were conspicuous with about 4 flying about low.
Good birding ,
