I ran into Nancy Anderson at the old Colosseum site this morning and we
spent an hour and a half flushing sparrows.  Had a couple of possible
LeConte's sightings but never long enough to ID. (Neither of us had seen
one before.  Or still, for that matter.)  Lots of song sparrows,
though.  Also a couple of snipe, at least six meadowlarks flying around
together (and singing a bit), and four bluebirds flying overhead.
