Hi everyone,

Beth and I decided to make a late visit to this site‹we were there for an
our or so about 2 PM today. Not too many birds‹a pair of sparrows that got
away before we could get our glasses on them, and

--American Crow
--European Starling
--American Robin
--Turkey Vulture
--Black-capped Chickadee
--Killdeer (1)
--Meadowlark (presumably Eastern) (a group of five we flushed a couple of
times)

We also had a Green Darner, a lot of crickets singing the while time we were
there, grasshoppers and a few Clouded Sulphurs.

Mostly, I thought about what a great spot for a fall botanical walk this
would be. A variety of asters, several different grasses and rushes, and
more.

Best wishes,

Steve Cagan
Cleveland Hts
