Jackson Field at the S. Chagrin was rather birdy today (10/25/06). The goldenrod stalks were alive with flocks of sparrows, and other surprises, too-

  Baltimore Oriole (1)
  Lincoln's Sparrow (1)
  Field Sparrow (2)
  White-crowned Sparrow (10+)
  White-throated Sparrow (20+)
  Swamp Sparrow (10+)
  Song Sparrow (50+)
  Am. Tree Sparrow (1)
  E. Towhee (2)
