I stopped by the Furnas boat ramp at Caesar Creek State Park and again
saw the Surf Scoter. I later saw it from the concrete fishing pier by the
youth pond.
At Harveysburg Road Frank Frick and I saw 2 more Surf Scoters. Most of the
birds seen yesterday were gone, but there were still around 20 Common Loons,
24 Horned Grebes, a single Hooded Merganser, 12 Ruddy Ducks and several
Bufflehead present.
While I went to the campground, Frank went to the Furnas ramp where he got
a good look at a Red-necked Grebe.
