the adult ross's goose was observed this morning (11/10/2006) from about 9: 15 am to 10:30 am. the bird was only noted sporadically during this time as it remained along the far north side of the north field along fairport-nursery road in fairport harbor and constantly fed in back of the much larger canada geese which oftentimes totally blocked out seeing the bird. the bird was last seen flying down over a rise in the direction of the lake.
