I am sure that the Arctic Loon is now feeding heavily in the runoff
waters of Arcola Creek at the end of Dock Road in Madison Township -
must be the same bird John Pogacnik described - and the spitting image
of bird 18b on page 35 of Peter Harrison's Seabirds.  I don't have a
decent camera but I am pretty sure that this is a nonbreeding adult -
white flank patch and all.  This is a lifer for me!  and right in my own
front yard. at the end of Driftwood Drive.
