Conducted the monthly census yesterday with Shane and Laura Roberts.
Beautiful day with light winds, cool in the early AM but warmed up. Total
of 60 species observed on the route which is our second highest species
total in 10 years. An addition 4 species were observed during the day but
not on the census route. Highlights were a White-eyed Vireo and dark Merlin
which appears to have setup winter territory.
