This AM the Caesar Creek beach had only 45 Ring-billed Gulls and 1 Herring Gull. I could not locate the Red-throated Loon though it might still be somewhere on the lake, nor did I see the ducks reported by Lou and Lori. However, in the group of about 50 Coots there was the ` Surf Scoter which is most likely the same one which has been around for a while. At one point all the Coots were lined up with the Scoter leading the way. It was viewed from the turn off north of the beach.

Sunny Day Cheers,
Larry Gara, Wilmington, Ohio
