This morning Frank Frick, Shane Eggleston and I took another look at the Caesar Creek Red-throated Loon which has been there for more than a week. It was again seen from the Furnas boat ramp and glorious in the sunlight. Later we were joined by
Gary Stokes from Toledo.

My second target was the Red-necked Grebe Frank and others had seen Thanksgiving. When I joined him Frank had seen the grebe from Harveysburg road but it had gone out of sight. It had been swimming in the direction of the Youth Pond and when we went over there BINGO, there it was. Two rare birds in one nearby state park and the weather was terrific. What a day.

Happy Birder Cheers, Larry Gara
