While birding my way around Lorain County today I spotted 4 Cackling
Geese mixed in with a large flock of Canada Geese at the Wellington
Reservoir. The birds were very easily distinguished from the much
larger Canadians, appearing to be a miniature version. There was one
small goose in the morning but a return stop in the afternoon with the 4
birds together confirmed it.
