My husband and I stopped by the boardwalk (Area M) at Hoover around 11:15 this morning and an Adult Bald Eagle flew about 30 feet in front of the boardwalk. It came from Weiss Road and was flying fairly low so it was a pretty awesome site to see. It ended up landing in a tree not far from the end of the boardwalk and stayed there for about 20 minutes. We also saw a Horned Grebe, a few Northern Flickers and a Belted Kingfisher.
