I went down to 72nd Street from around 10AM to 1PM.  I also saw Tom LePage there.  All was quiet till around 11AM.  We noticed a dark bird to the east down toward Dike 14.  ( Jaeger like ).  He made two passes and we never saw him again.  Then around 12 noon I spotted the Kittiwake amongst the Bonaparte's on the water.  We had great looks.    We watched it on and off till 12:30PM.  It was in the air once but I lost it.  Relocated it again for good looks through the scope.  Three Great Black-backed gulls made an appearance ( 1 adult,  1-3rd winter and one 1st winter I think ).  We saw no Herring Gulls.  All were Bonaparte's by the bridge with a few Ringbills with them.  The majority of Ringbills were down by the Marina to the East.  Great day to be out and about.
