Cave swallows were reported on a lake watch in Rochester, NY yesterday,
about 125 mi from Conneaut. While this apparently has not been an
invasion year sufficient to get good numbers into Lake Erie, this is as
close as I've heard reports. Might be worth keeping an eye peeled today
along the NE lakefront. Tomorrow's weather looks pretty crazy; here, the
forecast calls for SW winds as high as 55 mph, conditions likelier to
blow cave swallows straight up from Texas!
