I took a quick look at the Deer Creek Reservoir again this afternoon. The water lever dropped about 8 feet in the past few days, and the was a big influx of various fish-eating birds. While I probably overlooked quite a bit (like possibly some R-t Loons etc.), here are some of the birds I did see there today :

~250 Lesser Scaups
~40 Hooded Mergansers
~350 Common Loons
~20 Pied-billed Grebes
~10 Horned Grebes
1 RED-NECKED GREBE
1 Am. WHITE PELICAN
~400 Double-cr Cormorants
~40 Gr. Blue Herons
~300 Am. Coots
~50 Killdeers
~1200 Bonaparte's Gulls
~700 Ring-billed Gulls
~10 Herring Gulls

There are still loads of sparrows in the fields, and Am. Tree Sparrows have finally arrived in numbers. The sunflower fields still hold massive numbers of Am. Goldfinches.
