I also have personally e-mailed Tom Slater. I have read his listings
and have found nothing wrong with his posts. I am not a professional
photographer but have a link with photographs of my bird sightings.
I have posted here with sightings stating my identification may be
wrong. That is why I post them because there is vast knowledge here
and know someone out there will tell me the correct identification.
I see nothing wrong with posting a link with photographs.

I recently went to a park birding and started chatting with a woman
in a wheel chair that was photographing galls. In our conversation
she said how hard it is for her to get around in her wheel chair to
go birding but how she loved birds. I told her I photograph when I
go and have a web site with my pics. I can't tell you how overjoyed
she was to be able to go to a web site to see the pics. They may not
be the best but it made her day. We are not all experts here. I
have learned a lot from this list and look forward to reading all the
posts no matter if it's a blue jay or a sparrow. I want to know. I
hope Tom comes back we can all learn.

Tina
