Maybe the last nice day for birding and luckily the birds showed up!

Eastern bluebirds - 12+
Ring-billed gulls - 10
Carolina chickadees
Am. robins - many
Canada geese - few!
Killdeer - 5
Ruddy ducks - 4F
Hooded merganser - 1M & 1F
Great blue herons
Bluejays
Osprey - 1 (Seen by 5 people the last 2 days)
Am. widgeon - 2
Red-winged blackbirds - 100s
Black ducks - 4
Carolina wren
Golden-crowned kinglets
Cedar waxwings
Green-winged teal - 15+
N. flicker
Pileated, red-bellied, downy, and hairy woodpeckers
Brown creepers
Yellow-rumped warblers
Red-tailed hawks - 3
And all the regular 'stuff'

Backyard Birds -

White-throated and white-crowned sparrows
Juncos
Brown creeper
Red-bellied and downy woodpeckers
Coopers hawk - house sparrow for brunch!
And finally, after 2 barren years, 2 days of visits by a red-breasted
nuthatch!
