Hey All,
A Blackbellied Plover (juvenile) is calling the St Marys Fish Hatchery its
own - for about a week now. Occasionally, the bird has some friends, but is
a loner for the most part.

Also, a Kingfisher is still hanging around the ponds - easy lunch!! at the
fish hatchery. There are about 10-15 Buffleheads also, two males and the
rest females.
And, a Bonaparte's gull hangs around the hatchery and the Mercer Wildlife
Area.

Duck hunters tell me there are LOTS of divers out on the lake, BUT I'll just
take their word for it - our boat is winterized and put away!

Don't you just LOVE our BEAUTIFUL OHIO!!!
Time to get out those "woolies".

Jill Bowers
