I headed back to the tanager site which is very close to where I live and got some better photos of the bird today. I added them to my previous post at rarebirds.org,

I was there around 11:30 when Delores Cole was there. The bird put on a good show for us. It later flew off to the north, which the direction I've always seen it heading. I think it has another favored area between the houses that can't be seen from the road, but that's just a guess. I couldn't relocate it later, but it's still around, no doubt, to make its circuit back to the corrner again.
