I had some nice views of an adult Bald Eagle at the Beach City Dam. I
saw the bird in the air and perched in trees. Closer to the control
station for the dam there were three dead, bloody carp laying on the ice
which may have been serving as supper for the eagle.
- Beach City Dam is three miles north of Strasburg, close to the
intersection of SR 250 & SR 93.

I did some driving around the Killbuck Marsh and Wildlife Area. Not
much activity there today except for mallards and canada geese. One
mute swan was visible from Valley Road and a man who was there said that
every time he goes through there "that white thing is out there in the
same spot".
