Please help stop the killing of Canada Geese in Union County parks.

These geese are round up in trucks during closed park hours every Spring
while the geese are molting and are either gassed or sent to slaughter. The
reason for this is because of the over-population of geese and the geese
droppings. There are many alternatives to stop reproduction of geese and to get them
out of the area without harming or killing them. Killing them doesn't work &
it's a waste of tax payer money. People should be made aware that feeding
geese bread, crackers, popcorn, corn is unhealthy for them and gives them angel
wing. Angel wing is when the end joints of the wings are twisted and the
feathers stick out. This is due to high protein foods whick make the feathers
grow faster than what the wing structure can hold. Feeding geese also makes them
more aggressive, the food is easy so they compete.
