Folks who are counting this weekend may want to consider these tips to limit deer hunting encounters.

If possible, try to bird non hunting areas during lowlight periods.

Wear hunter orange or bright reds, pinks, greens, blues.

DO NOT wear white scarves or gloves!

Remember yellows LOOK white in the dark.

Most hunters will welcome somebody walking around to kick up deer. Especially late morning, early afternoon.

If you walk up on a hunter say sorry and ask if there's a direction he'd prefer you to walk.

You wont catch me wearing anything gray or brown! (coats or pants)

No need to reply or comment.

Greg C.
