Hello!
As an addition to the request of eagle sightings for the mid-winter eagle survey for the Division of Wildlife, I would like to put out a request for help with the Ohio Winter Bird Atlas during the entire month of January. Black Swamp Bird Observatory is coordinating the winter atlas project and is seeking the help of all birders in Ohio. The Ohio Winter atlas sponsored in part by the Ohio Division of Wildlife was set up by Vic Fazio III to best describe the winter birds that utilize areas in Ohio. The Observatory is coordinating this effort to document the winter bird species distribution in the state. Any observations recorded which are coordinated with the Delorme Gazetteer  blocks is useable data. The more information recorded and sent in the better the description of Ohio's wintering bird species distribution, index of bird abundance, and documentation of bird use in special areas that may have conservation implications.
