This may be a bit early for announcing the 2007 January Ohio Winter Bird
Atlas. However, with the holidays coming up and the CBC's I thought it
appropriate to remind those that participated in previous years to please
help out again and for those compiling CBC counts if you are interested in
distributing more information about the Ohio Winter Bird Atlas I would be
glad to send you materials to hand out on your CBC count day.

Black Swamp Bird Observatory is coordinating the Ohio Winter Bird Atlas to
document the distribution of wintering birds in Ohio, obtain an index of
their relative abundance and to encourage more birdwatchers to go birding in
January.

There are maps delineating areas not covered in Ohio WBA and examples of
bird species maps to show winter distribution from the past 4 years of
compilation.
