Fremont, Ohio in Sandusky Co. Backyard bird station visited by two
Carolina wrens, male and female Downy, 8 cardinals, 4 Goldfinches, 3 WB
Nuthatches, one Sharp-shin (visits several times each day). Headed East
out of Fremont along St. Rt. 6 and saw Bald Eagle flying around White's
Landing, and 2 adult Bald Eagles in the trees north of Rt. 6 just past M&M
Tavern. One was sitting atop the Eagle nest there, another was perched 10
ft. away from the nest. There are two nests there now, about 15 ft. away
from each other. Saw a Belted Kingfisher at Pickerel Creek marsh, just
south of the Ranger's station. Then, went to Castalia Lake in Castalia.
Full of Shovelers and Baldpates. Robert
