There were a lot of gulls moving today with almost double the numbers from
yesterday. Again the birds were moving west in a steady stream. There were
not a lot of ducks today.
Location- Lakeshore Reservation, North Perry, Lake County
Date- January 10, 2007, Time- 7:45-9:30
Weather- Cloudy, Winds- NW 10-15
Temperature- 27-28 F, Barometer- 30.25-30.30
Humidity- 84-74, Dew point- 23-21
Waves- 4-6, Flight direction- west
Red-breasted merganser 59
BALD EAGLE 2- 1 adult and 1 immature
Ring-billed gull 18,430
Herring gull 2,180
LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL 1 adult
GLAUCOUS GULL 2- 1 1st and 1 2nd year
Great Black-backed gull 224
