JoAnn Kubicki, Information Specialist at Cleveland Metroparks CanalWay
Center, has related that recent sightings on their trails include:
EASTERN TOWHEE
EASTERN PHOEBE
COMMON GRACKLES
TREE SPARROWS
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS
Apparently the combination of the unusually warm winter and the sheltered
Cuyahoga River valley are holding some otherwise rather migratory species.
If you still need any of these for your January month list, you can contact
JoAnn directly at 216-206-1001 for location information within the
reservation.
CanalWay Visitor Center is located at Cleveland Metroparks Ohio and Erie
Canal Reservation in Newburg Heights, just off E.49thStreet and the Granger
exit to I-77, just a few miles south of Cleveland OH. The DeLorme
coordinates are page 40, A,5

Interpretation is a mission-based communication process that forges
emotional and intellectual connections between the interests of the audience
and the meanings inherent in the resource.
