I had an adult Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in very 'ratty' plumage at the Towpath Beaver Pond within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This may be the same bird that Judy Kolo-Rose had on the Greater Akron Audubon Society's Christmas Count on Dec. 17th., as it is in the same area and may be wintering here as the spruce trees on either side of the lock have numerous drill marks.
