This morning (Mon), Shari Jackson & Winnie Sarno joined Tim &  I to go to
Holmes Co. to find the Harris' Sparrow.  Upon arriving at the  house (3395 TR
406, for those who may have missed the original post), we  encountered a birdless
yard.  We watched for just a few minutes & then  as I was headed up to the
house to make sure we were at the right place, a young  lady came out to say it
was in the tree.  Sure enough, while I wasn't  looking, a flock of
white-crowns had flown into the tree with the  feeders.  There, in all his glory, was a
beautiful adult Harris'.   This was a life bird for Tim & I & we all got great
looks at it.   After a few minutes, the flock flew to the bushes along the
creek edge on the  east side of the house.  We tried to relocate the bird but
could only see  the white-crowns.

When we left, we headed north on TR 401 and encountered 4 Black Vultures  & a
Killdeer.

We ended the morning's adventures with a delicious lunch at  Winesburg.
