Highlights of a windy and occasionally damp morning...

  Wellington Reservoir:
  American Coot >1000
  Ruddy Duck >1000
  Ring-necked Duck ~100
  Redhead ~25
  Canvasback 3
  Bufflehead 3
  Pied-billed Grebe ~10

  Findley State Park:
  Reb-bellied Woodpecker 2
  Downy Woodpecker 3
  Pileated Woodpecker 1
  Northern Flicker 3
  (all in a span of less than five minutes)
  Plus a Red-headed Woodpecker flyby on Rte. 58 near the Black River bridge

  Oberlin Reservoir:
  Horned Grebe 2
  Ruddy Duck 50
  Bufflehead 1
  Herring Gull 4-500
  Ring-billed Gull ~100
  Great Black-backed Gull 10

  Oberlin Airport (southwest corner) and adjacent fields:
  Ring-billed Gull 2000
  Herring Gull 100
  Great Black-backed Gull 1

  Avon Lake Power:
  Horned Grebe 1
  Red-breasted Mergansers 800
  not many gulls

  The roads to Lorain Harbor boat launch ("Hot Waters") are blocked by construction - I'll try to find out Monday for how long.
