Great tour of The Wilds in Muskingum Co. Saw the Golden Eagle and a dozen
Horned Larks to add to my list. The male Northern Harrier hovering just
over the grasslands was worth the trip; a beautiful bird, indeed! Took Rt.
60 all the way back up to Ashland, then Rt. 250 to Rt. 20 back to Fremont.
The stretch of Rt. 60 from Zanesville to Ashland is incredibly scenic.
Will have to revisit The Wilds again in summer time. Robert from Fremont
