Hi Group,
     I'm from Maryland in the region called the Delmarva [DE, MD & VA].
  I recently joined your list-serve and thought that you might like to hear-
  about some of the birds that we see here on the Eastern Shore.
     Today, sunny, breezy, temperature 28 degrees F.  Some of the best
  birds for today, January 17th:
  Crisfield, MD
     3 surf scoter
     8 bufflehead
     2 red-breasted merganser
     2 common loons
     3 black vultures
  Deal Island, MD
     4 black duck
     3 pintail
     25 bufflehead
     4 pied-billed grebe
     black-backed gull
     2 harriers (marsh hawks)
     boat-tailed grackle
     6 song sparrow
