The snows of February have definitely increased the birds at our feeder. This weekend we had the following at various times:

Am. Tree Sparrow 20
Song Sparrow 2
White-crowned Sparrow 1
Junco 20
Northern Cardinal 2 (mf)
White-breasted Nuthatch 2
 Carolina Chickadee 2
 Red-bellied Woodpecker 2 (mf)
Downy Woodpecker 1
Carolina Wren 1
Mourning Dove 15
House Finch 1
House Sparrow 10
 European Starling 5

Cooper's Hawk (a juvenile that landed on our porch but failed to make a kill) I'm hoping it gets one of the Starlings or a House Sparrow one of these days.

The roads up here are lined with small flocks of sparrows and Horned Larks. It's fortunate I haven't mowed down half a dozen driving in to work each day (haven't hit one yet)!
