The water at Greelawn Dam is still open. Yesterday I saw:
Pied-Billed Grebe - male and female
Hooded Merganser - 3 males, 1 female
Common Goldeneye - 2 males
Ring Billed Gull - 8-10
Canada Goose - way too many
There is a large concentration of waterfowl on the Olentangy just south of
Dodridge. The best way to get there is to take the bike path south of the
Wetlands. Yesterday there were many people cross country skiing on the bike
path, so I thought I should stay out of the way. But a braver soul than me
might want to take a look...
