  Killdeer Plains is located off of Rte. 295, around 4 miles from Rte.
23, about 1.5 hours north of Columbus.
 
    American Tree Sparrows-250+ (seen on most road edges)

      Red-headed Woodpecker-Adult
 
  Red-tailed Hawks-10-everywhere
 
  Great Blue Heron-along open water ditch TH-108
 
 Eastern Meadowlarks-36 Along CH-77 between TH-108 & CH-125
 
  Harriers-6-various fields
 
  Rough-legged Hawks-3- along TH-108
 
  American Kestral-1-TH-108
 
 Ringed-necked Duck-1-male, 2-female-Upground Reservoir
 
 Tundra Swans-90-Pond-27
 
 Bald Eagles
        Perched near nest along TH-108-Adult
        Perched above nest & on nest-2-Adults-across from Area
Headquarters
 
 Short-eared Owls-3-flying in the fields southeast of Sportsen's Service
Center
