<p>Horned Lark are typically found in Greene County at this time of year but the numbers seem to be increasing with the heavy snow.  On St. Rt. 42 south between Xenia and Spring Valley we found four large groups of Horned Lark combined with Snow Buntings.  The birds were doing there typically fly two feet, stop for a second fly two more feet.  All total there were over 150 birds between the four groups.    I believe this is the first time I have ever seen Snow Bunting in Greene County.  Unfortunately with the traffic on this road we were unable to stop for long, but had good looks at both birds.  If we could find a safe place to stop it would be interesting to know if there are longspur with these flocks.</p><p /><p>HAPPY BIRDING</p><p>Cris and Dave Barnett</p>
