At least five Turkey Vultures with two Black Vultures gathered and gained
altitude through dynamic soaring using terrain deflected wind where
south-west winds are forced upward by hills west of Chillicothe. The
observed behavior looks just like spring migration. This is the first such
group of TUVU's I've seen doing this since late autumn.
