We finished off our final day of the GGBC with some notable birds.  we continued to find many Black and Turkey vultures, Wild turkeys, E. Towhees, Pileated woodpeckers etc. Then with the help of 2 young Amish friends we added:
Rusty blackbird
Wood duck, @ Alma's pond
Bald eagles, 2 @ Beach City dam
Barred Owl, 2 conversing @ Beach City backwaters
Horned Larks, several hundred
American Pippits, 3, we flushed trekking thru the manured fields of an Amish farm
Those were a few species we saw. plus Lapland longspurs and Snow buntings and more
