The beautiful array of ducks remains to be enjoyed at East 72nd St.
(Cleveland). The White-winged Scoter that was seen earlier in the week has departed,
but do come down tomorrow in the sunshine to admire all the Goldeneyes,
Greater and Lesser Scaup, Redheads, Canvasbacks, Buffleheads, Red-breasted
Mergansers.

Additionally, a beautiful 2nd winter Glaucous Gull posed for a close view on
the ice near the ducks, and a very white Iceland Gull came in later to preen
in the same location.

[On a non-bird note: a Coast Guard vessel came smashing through the ice and
then along a lead, scaring up thousands of gulls. And then suddenly two
coyotes were trotting along out there near the lead, a male and a pregnant
female!!]
