I saw the Harris's Sparrow in Holmes Co. on 2-24. Thanks to a boy who
came out with a spotting scope and showed us where it was hanging out
that we got a few really good looks. Because there were many bluebird
boxes in the area we saw about 15 blue birds staking them out. The boy
directed us to 2 nearby screech owl boxes which we found but did not
see the screech owls.

Near Danville on RT 62 on our way to Holmes Co. we saw a flock of about
20 sandhill cranes grazing in a snow covered field.

The Harris's Sparrow is near Berlin at 3395 TR 406.
