I finally made the drive to Holmes County to see the
Harris' Sparrow. It took about two hours each way
from north Columbus (via 161-62-39-406). Actually it
took all day since I stopped to eat and do some
shopping in Berlin. It was a nice trip. There was no
one home at the Miller's when I arrived. I parked in
their turn-around and soon found the flock of
White-crowned Sparrows. It took a good half-hour to
locate the Harris', though. I got a good look for a
couple of minutes and then it disappeared. I
relocated it after another half-hour or so and had
another good look. It even sang a couple of notes for
me from a tree branch. The Millers still weren't home
after an hour and a half, so I left them a thank-you
gift and note on their porch. While at the Millers
(or on the way), I saw:

Canada Goose
Lesser Scaup (m-f)
Canvasback (m-f)
Great Blue Heron
Accipiter (Cooper's?)
Rapters (Red-tailed Hawk; Rough-legged Hawk?)
Turkey Vulture
American Kestral
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
American Crow
Blue Jay
Tufted Titmouse
White-breasted Nuthatch
Northern Mockingbird
Eastern Bluebird
Red-winged Blackbird
European Starling
House Sparrow
Northern Cardinal
House Finch (also Orange Variant)
American Goldfinch
White-crowned Sparrow
HARRIS' SPARROW
Song Sparrow

I also saw 2 deer, another 2 deer, and then 12 deer.
