My brother Kevin and I drove from Greenville to Versailles on back roads and checked out several flocks of horned larks. In each of three different flocks we found 1 snow bunting. No Lapland longspurs.
We also startled a male bluebird and he ended up hanging from both wings entangled in brush. When we stopped the pickup to try to release it, he moved and freed himself.
Other birds:
morning dove
downy
redbellied woodpecker
flickers
C. chickadee
white breasted nuthatch
robins
Am. tree sparrow
song sparrow
junco
house sparrow
bluebirds
North. cardinals
horned larks XXX
snow buntings
house finches
