As I was headed down Rt 60 toward Marietta Sunday morning, I saw a large
raptor and at first glance thought Red-tailed Hawk. But I saw a rusty
colored breast as I was driving past so I turned around, pulled off and
put binoculars on it. As I was watching, another bird flew in and
landed. A smaller (male) version of what I was looking at. I'm not
much of a birder but a strong rusty breast, good size, and distinct
white markings on the wings told me I was looking at a pair of
Red-shouldered Hawks.

This was right at the intersection of Rt 60 and CR 340. Locals would
know this as a cutoff road between Rt 60 and Exit 6 on Rt 77.
