On Sunday, Dave Dyer and I did some birding around Chillicothe. To our surprise, we found 5..yes 5..Imm. Bald Eagles, on the Scioto near the Eastern Av. exit just south of town. Parking at the top of the ramp, and looking East towards the river. One may have been 3 yr. old+ with some white starting on back of head..but the rest where mostly dark birds. They were on the ground a lot, at waters edge, and on the ice. Time was 12:30pm. Delorme pg. 78 b-2

This area has lots of Eagles around this time of yr., but this is the most I've seen at one time.
