Did not count ring-billed gulls at Lorain Harbor, river was ice-free from hot
waters up. Good number of canvasbacks (~175) and an eastern phoebe at the
Black River Wharf boat ramp.
Sunday, 11 March
Berlin Reservoir had some slivers from US 224 north. Highlights: greater
scaups, turkey vulture and Bonaparte's gull.
Lake Milton had good numbers and variety south of Mahoning Ave, mostly at
Pointview boat ramp and some at Ellsworth Rd. Highlights: northern pintails,
green-winged teals, greater scaups, ~575 ring-necked ducks, horned grebes,
SANDHILL CRANE (fly-over ~1:15 pm), turkey vulture, bald eagle.
