Thursday evening had double-crested cormorants, Bonaparte's gulls and a tree
swallow at North Reservoir. Locals at Long Lake told me that "at least one" of
the "big peregrines", which I took to indicate ospreys, was back but I have not
seen any sign thereof.
This morning a dozen swallows, which I assume were all tree swallows, were at
Nimisila and Turkeyfoot Lake had 31 ruddy ducks. Common loons and horned
grebes are all around as well.
Peace,
Gregory Bennett
