I saw my first Killdeer of 2007 on Feb. 1 here in SW Ohio, but in the last
few days, I have had several flying around high above my yard and calling. With
the full moon last night, they were calling well after dark and again early
this morning when I took the dogs out. I have 2 Red-winged Blackbird males
staking out territory at my pond, and several Common Grackles visiting the
feeders, all having arrived in the last week.
