Englewood North Park (9:30 a.m.-noon) - Big time flooding behind  Englewood
Dam (It's supposed to do that!)  Had to walk in Martindale Rd.  from the west
about 1/4 mi. to the river and about 1/2 mi. in Old Springfield  Rd. from the
east to the river/park.  Sightings were:

Killdeer - 2 small flocks, 25-30 birds
Red-winged blackbirds - 100+ all male
Mourning dove
Cowbirds
European starlings
Eastern meadowlarks
Canada geese
Mallards
Redhead ducks - 2M, 2F
Green-winged teal - 2
Black ducks - 4
Hooded mergansers - 7
Ring-billed gulls
Swainson's thrush
Carolina chickadees
GBHs
Amer. robins
Red-tailed hawks - 7!
Common grackles
No. Cardinals
TVs - 5
Song sparrows
Tree sparrow
House sparrow
White-throated sparrows
Amer. crows
