No sooner than I returned from observing the Ross's Goose which Rick Asamoto found at Cowan Lake than I looked out the window and saw our Red-breasted Nuthatch which had apparently been visiting our neighbor's feeders. It was a wonderful sign of hope when, because of our friends at Bluffton's terrible tragedy, we needed such. Birding has so many benefits.

Peace, Larry Gara, Wilmington
